Code of conduct of PST Group AB for employees, suppliers and company's representatives
OBJECTIVE
Being one of the largest construction companies in Lithuania, PST Group AB recognizes, understands and feels responsible for the impact of the corporate activities on the social, economic and natural environment. The company is committed to complying with the laws, regulations and agreements applicable to its operation.
PST Group AB strictly adheres to the standards related to fair business, people and community as outlined in this Code of Conduct for Employees, Suppliers and Representatives and expects the same from all of the interested parties.
PST Group AB treats its employees, suppliers and representatives in a fair manner and considers them in accordance with the criteria of professionalism, fairness and equality. The employee's, supplier's and representative's ability to comply with the requirements of this Code is a critical factor in its decision to cooperate or extend its business relationship with the interested party.
Each supplier or representative must ensure that its sub-suppliers or partners do not violate any standards of this Code.
FAIR BUSINESS
BRIBERY AND CORRUPTION
PST Group AB expressly speaks against any form of bribery and corruption. We strive for all business transactions to be conducted in a transparent and fair manner, so that business suppliers do not offer or give bribes, unreasonable rewards, and refuse to accept them.
COMPETITION
Business suppliers should compete ethically and responsibly to gain a competitive advantage in terms of price and quality.
We ensure transparency and objectivity in our supplier selection through the procurement procedure included in the Corporate Management System, which defines clear criteria for the supplier selection and evaluation: the price, quality, delivery and payment terms of a product or service.
GIFTS
The employees, suppliers and representatives must ensure that business gifts, meals or entertainment comply with the general business expense policy, and are arranged in good faith to develop and strengthen relationships with the clients. No business gifts are intended to directly benefit the company or influence business partners in making decisions.
CONFLICT OF INTERESTS
The employees, suppliers and representatives are required to disclose information on any situation that may give rise to a conflict of interest that could harm the Company's interests to the benefit of his or his close person’s private interests. The situations where the employees’ personal, family or financial interests may conflict with those of the Company should be avoided.
CONFIDENTIALITY
The employees, suppliers and representatives should protect and keep any confidential information they receive or become aware of in the course of their work. Such information should only be used for the purposes permitted by PST Group AB.
SPONSORSHIPS
PST Group AB refrains from any form of support for political parties / organisations as well as for individuals who participate in the politics field.
WORKING CONDITIONS
HUMAN RIGHTS AND REGULATIONS OF LABOUR
We expect the employees, suppliers and representatives in all branches of the company prohibit all forms of discrimination and harassment. The company strives to provide a work environment based on respect for fundamental human values.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
We expect the employees, suppliers and representatives to prioritize health and safety for the employees and business partners, create safe and healthy workplaces, work to consistently reduce the risk of accidents, and prevent incidents and ill-health.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
We expect employees, suppliers and representatives to protect the environment and understand their responsibility for continuous improvement of their operations in an environmentally responsible manner, complying with regulations applicable in this area.
IMPLEMENTATION
We expect the employees, suppliers and representatives to establish, implement and properly document their internal business practices and ensure they are familiar with and comply with this Code. The suppliers and representatives must ensure their subcontractors and partners comply with the terms and conditions as well as the standards of this Code.
MONITORING
PST Group AB reserves the right to verify individual employees', suppliers' and representatives' compliance with the Supplier Code of Conduct by performing its own audit and/or assigning such performance to a third party. The employees, suppliers and representatives must allow performing such audit, allow the auditors meet the employees and the employed workers, not discriminate against the employees, or harm them for comments made to auditors.
If the Employee, Supplier and Representative fails to comply with any of the requirements of the Code, he is expected to start complying.
After identifying significant breaches of the Code, PST Group AB reserves the right to terminate the agreement with such employee, supplier or representative.
In case of any breach of the Code of Conduct by the employees of PST Group AB, information on this may be reported to skundai@pst.lt (confidentiality guaranteed).
