The fire and rescue station reconstruction project in Vilnius has been successfully completed. To ensure faster response times, the depot and garage buildings were connected and separated from nearby structures. As part of the modernization, the building facade was renovated, and new windows, doors, a garage roof, and gates were installed.
Inside, the layout was redesigned and upgraded. A second floor was added, featuring work and rest areas, fully tailored to firefighters' needs. The total station space expanded from 1,300 to over 1,500 square meters, accommodating 23 workstations. The entire surrounding area was also improved, including the addition of three outdoor training fields, one designated for sports, and a 54-space parking lot.
This modernization project not only enhanced working conditions for firefighters but also improved the station’s efficiency and functionality.
