In Vilnius Old Town, on Bokšto Street, a former hospital complex has been redeveloped into a residential and administrative quarter. This project highlights Vilnius’ historical heritage, preserving its Baroque architecture while adapting it to modern living.
The restoration of "Bokšto Skveras" focused on maintaining authentic architectural details while integrating innovative design and engineering solutions. The project’s uniqueness lies in its harmonious blend of historical tradition and contemporary elements, making "Bokšto Skveras" a progressive example of Baroque heritage preservation in Vilnius.
The project was made possible by extensive archaeological research, conducted before construction began—one of the largest excavations in Vilnius Old Town. These studies uncovered cultural layers dating from the late 13th to the 20th century, providing significant scientific value and a deeper understanding of the site’s role in the city’s history.
